Lucia Cockcroft
Lucia co-runs Yoga At The Mill with her partner, Darren. Lucia first discovered yoga in London 25 years ago, whilst looking for a non-competitive way to improve fitness and wellbeing. She found herself bitten hard by the yoga bug, and, after ten years' practice, trained with the Sivananda school in California.
Further study led Lucia to practice and study with some of the world's leading yoga and mindfulness meditation teachers, and she is honoured to list Sarah Powers, Norman Blair, Judith Lasater, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Martin Aylward, Mark Williams and Christina Feldman amongst big influences.
Lucia is an experienced retreat teacher, and has studied Mindfulness Based Approaches with Bangor University at Postgraduate level. She is also a qualified Mindfulness in Schools teacher. She is passionate about the ability of both meditation and yoga to empower and transform.
Darren Cooper
Darren Cooper is the co-founder of Yoga at the Mill and our retreats. With over 17 years' experience of yoga and meditation, Darren gained his 200 hour teaching qualification at London-based Yoga Campus and is now dedicated to running and managing Yoga at the Mill and the retreats with Lucia.
Darren has been privileged to have studied with leading world yoga teachers, including: Jason Crandell, Simon Low, Tara Fraser, Norman Blair and Paul Dallaghan.
Originally (and still!) a software designer, Darren is the brains behind our booking system Reservie and spends much of his time developing this further for the many studios and yoga teachers now using the system.

Sophie MacDonald
Sophie found yoga to help soothe anxiety after the loss of a close family member.
After the first few classes at a local gym, she wanted to discover more of what yoga had to offer and left the gym in search of yoga classes focused on the emotional benefits of the practice rather than purely on physical fitness.
Sophie trained to teach yoga with world-renowned teacher, Simon Low. She has been teaching for seven years and aims to create a safe, calming environment focusing on the healing power of yoga - physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Sophie takes our forever popular Wednesday 8pm vinyasa flow online class.
Stephanie Blanchard
Steph was diagnosed with a scoliosis in her early twenties and spent most of her adult life on prescribed pain killers. She came to yoga to improve strength and overall fitness and soon found she could move pain-free with no medication; however, she was more surprised at the changes felt in breath and her ability to relax. Yoga opened a connection to peace & stillness within her and she is keen to help others find this peace within themselves.
Steph is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher trained through Yogacampus, a Yoga Nidra Teacher with Yoga Nidra Network and a Meditation Teacher trained by Rolf Sovik of the Himalayan Institute (USA).
She teaches a therapeutic, mindful style of practice combining the use of body, breath and mind giving students the opportunity to develop an awareness of their body by encouraging them to feel from within, paying attention to safe alignment and providing a practice right for each student.
Lisa Hands
Lisa studied Hatha Yoga on a YA200 hr, Level 3 Diploma Course with Helena Bingham, qualifying in 2016. She is registered with Yoga Alliance.
With continuous study on and off the mat, Lisa is grateful to have studied with Donna Farhi, Jambo Truong, Philip Xerri and Helena as she continues to further and deepen her knowledge and understanding of this wonderful discipline.
Beginning yoga in her late teens with a lovely yoga teacher, Pat Bruce, she feels fortunate to have had yoga as a tool to find balance on and off the mat. Following a tough period in her life her love of yoga deepened. This gave her the push to seek out a yoga teacher training course.
Lisa aims to share the peace and equilibrium for a healthy body and mind that can be found through yoga.
