Lucia Cockcroft co-founded Yoga at the Mill after decades as a journalist in the health and travel sectors. Keen for a change in direction, Lucia trained as a yoga teacher after 10 years of practice, gaining her first teaching qualification in northern California with the Sivananda school of yoga.

She has since studied with world-leading yoga and mindfulness meditation teachers, including Judith Lasater, Sarah Powers, Bo Forbes, Jason Crandell, Jon Kabat-Zinn and Christina Feldman. She is a registered Relax and Renew Trainer®, qualifying her to teach Restorative Yoga, and has completed two years' rigorous Postgraduate training in Mindfulness-Based Approaches with Bangor University. Lucia is also a qualified Mindfulness in Schools teacher.

She is passionate about the ability of yoga and meditation to transform on many levels, and equally passionate that both should be as accessible as possible.
