Our approach
Vinyasa Flow means ‘moving with the breath’. It is a flowing, dynamic approach to yoga that is suited to those with reasonable fitness level looking to improve strength, stamina, conditioning, tone and mobility. Not usually suitable for complete beginners.
Our talented Vinyasa Flow teachers lead these classes with a smile and a large dose of knowledge of, and love for, the practice. These classes are fun and playful yet also alignment-aware, and taught mindfully - ensuring the body is safely and correctly positioned to move in and out of flowing sequences.
We are proud of our fabulous team of Vinyasa Flow teachers: Izzie Miller, Magali Swift, Henry Hebron, Martyna Zygaj and Lucy Rogoff. Please see summary in right-hand column for a list of class times.
Class structure
Classes include a warm up, warm down and final relaxation (Savasana). They can also incorporate:
Flowing sequences - We move through postures via a flowing, creative sequence. Although sometimes at a fast pace, we are mindful of alignment and safety.
Themes - Classes may be themed according to the time of year, or to focus on a particular aspect of the practice.
Relaxation - Although a far smaller element of many of our classes, Vinyasa Flow sessions will always include a period of rest to end.
